Wheat, Maize (Makka), Barley, Bajra, Jowar, Soya Bean Price 26.11.2021

Recent reports estimate that Indian wheat export is soaring to an eight-year high. So far, wheat export has been estimated to rise to 4.2 million tonnes this current year. Further, the demand from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Nepal, and neighboring nations rises the stakes higher.

The recent estimation suggests that India produced over 282 million metric tons of cereals in 2021, says APEDA. Accordingly, India stands third in the world cereal production, whereas China occupies the first place. Furthermore, the Ministry of Agriculture estimated the production of major cereals such as rice, maize, and bajra. The said cereals stood at 100.35, 19.89, 8.29 million tonnes respectively.
