Global warming will hit wheat production globally as per experts at University of Arkansas. 30% of wheat growing area in the world is set to witness simultaneous drought like conditions. Further, study conducted suggests that 60% of wheat growing area will face prolonged drought by the year 2100. Global warming and climate change needs to be addressed by all countries and efforts need to be made now to secure future for next generations.
