Coronavirus Cases Growth Rate in the state stands at 4%
COVID-19 Testing in UP
COVID-19 tests conducted as on June 10 stand at 404637. Tests per million figure in the state increased to 1799 from 1739. Further, UP conducted the highest number of single-day COVID-19 tests on June 10, that is 15079 tests.
Coronavirus Death Rate and Cured Cases in Uttar Pradesh
Mortality rate stands at 2.85% compared to the national average of 2.7%. Total of Recovered cases increased to 7292. Further, recovery rate in UP rose to 60.32% from yesterday’s cured rate of 60.04%. Also, the death toll jumped to 345 as 24 fatalities reported today.
Coronavirus District Wise Report in Uttar Pradesh
Agra District Coronavirus cases tally is just one less than 1000 as 5 new cases reported today. While Gautam Budh Nagar and Meerut reported 41 and 44 new cases taking total District tally to 787 and 604 positive cases respectively. The district with the least number of COVID-19 cases is Lalitpur with only 4 total positive cases.
Uttar Pradesh Requests for Isolation Coaches
UP requests a total of 240 isolation coaches at 24 different locations from Indian Railways. Tackling the steeply growing COVID-19 cases in the country, the request was put forth. Also, Delhi and Telangana have requested 60 and 10 coaches respectively.
Principal Secretary (Health) Praises ASHA Workers
The accredited social health activists (ASHA) have helped track migrants. That apart, they have actively taken part in bringing back the stranded. Currently, the government is using Aaryogya Setu App to track suspected COVID-19 patients. Subsequently, depending on the alert from the app, over 71736 people have been tested from COVID-19. Out of which, 155 are positive while 3289 are currently in quarantine.
COVID-19 Positive Patient Missing in UP
A man who is COVID-19 positive is missing in Kurukshetra district for two days. The 26-year old is originally a resident of Bulandshahr district is missing and his phone is not reachable. Meanwhile, the police officials are trying alternative ways to find the COVID-19 active man.
