USD/INR- Indian rupee settled at 74.149 as of 9:15 PM IST against US Dollar on 11 November. On Wednesday, the rupee reached an intraday- high of 74.020 and the lowest at 73.892. At the same time, the dollar index decreased by 0.08% or 0.08 points and settled at 92.97 as of 09:03 PM EST.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude increased by 2.17% or 37.00 cents and settled at USD 41.80 per barrel at 10:54 PM GMT on 11 November. Concomitantly, Brent Crude was trading at USD 44.11 per barrel as it traded 0.7% or 31 cents higher yesterday. Oil prices rise on the hope that OPEC+ will reduce the supply due to the rising coronavirus cases. However, the fuel demand is still in pressure beacuse of the ragining pandemic in Europe, the US, and Latin America.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Gold futures fell harshly on 11 November. Accordingly, December gold futures decreased by 0.31% to Rs. 50,344 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Similarly, Silver futures decreased by 628 Rupees to settle at Rs. 62,416 per kg. The drop in prices is attributed to the low demand, thus the participants hold back their investments. In the international market, Gold was trading at USD 1873.40 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 24.27 per ounce as it traded 0.81% lower on Wednesday.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
Sensex ended the day positively by trading in the green on 11 November. Accordingly, it increased by 0.73% or 316.02 points. Thereby ending the session at 43593.67 at 6:00 PM IST on Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 118.05 points or 0.93% and ended up at 12,749.15.
