USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.90 at 7:45 PM INR on 3 March. The Indian rupee traded between 72.880 and 73.000 today. On the other hand, the dollar index started this month on a high. Accordingly, it’s value increased by 0.13% and settled at 91.06 as of 8:33 PM EST Wednesday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell today after rising yesterday. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is on the edge. Accordingly, crude oil decreased by 0.08% at 8:00 PM on 3 March to trade at USD 61.23 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 64.02 per barrel as it was traded 0.08% higher on Wednesday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices began this week on a high but saw a steep fall today. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.58% or 264.00 Rupees to settle at 45284.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. On the contrary, Silver futures plummet by 629.00 Rupees or 0.93% to settle at Rs. 66710.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1731 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 25.44 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex keeps up the gain momentum. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 2.28% or 1147.76 points. Thereby ending the session at 51444.65 at 4:10 PM IST Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 2.19% or 326.50 points and ended up at 15245.60.
