USD/INR- The Indian currency settled at 72.88 at 9:41 PM INR on 3 February. The Indian rupee traded between 72.841 and 73.018 today. On the other hand, the dollar index rose by 0.05% and settled at 91.24 as of 10:45 AM EST on Wednesday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices rose for the third day after experiencing a sharp fall last month. The oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic fear kept the investors on edge. Accordingly, crude oil rose by 2.37% at 9:27 PM on 3 February to trade at USD 56.06 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 58.70 per barrel was traded 2.18% higher on Wednesday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices continue to fall. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.04% or 21.00 Rupees to settle at 47730.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. On the contrary, Silver futures increased by 780.00 Rupees or 1.15% to settle at Rs. 68321.00 per kg. The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1840.90 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 26.98 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex ended in the green on 3 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 0.92% or 458.03 points. Thereby ending the session at 50255.75 at 4:10 PM IST on Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 0.97% or 142.10 points and ended up at 14789.95.
