USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.97 at 7:55 PM INR on 25 February. The Indian rupee traded between 72.808 and 72.512 today. On the other hand, the dollar index is uncertain this week. Accordingly, it’s value increased by 0.09% and settled at 90.22 as of 8:55 PM EST Thursday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell sharply today. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is doubtful if the OPEC+ can handle the sharp fall. Accordingly, crude oil decreased by 0.42% at 8:00 PM on 25 February to trade at USD 63.26 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 66.75 per barrel as it was traded 0.19% higher on Thursday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices began this week on a high but fell for three consecutive days. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.31% or 145.00 Rupees to settle at 46377.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Likewise, Silver futures fell by 113.00 Rupees or 0.16% to settle at Rs. 69430.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 17 89per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 27.72 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex ended in the green on 25 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 0.51% or 257.62 points. Thereby ending the session at 51,039.31 at 4:10 PM IST Thursday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 0.77% or 115.35 points and ended up at 15,097.35.
