USD/ INR: Indian Rupee Forex Report 23 December

USD/INR- Indian rupee value settled at 73.66 on 23 December against the US Dollar at 11:50 PM. The India currency began at a high of 73.790 on Wednesday. Yesterday, it reached the highest at 73.235 and the lowest at 73.840. At the same time, the dollar index dropped by 0.27% to settle at 90.17 as of 9:48 PM EST. 

USD/ INR: Oil Prices

The US WTI crude oil rose on Wednesday after experiencing two consecutive falls. Accordingly, it rose by 0.35% at 10:40 PM GMT on 23 December to trade at USD 48.29 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude was trading at USD 51.39 per barrel as it traded 0.37% higher on Wednesday. The low demand crisis in the world seems to extend with the new crude build.

USD/ INR- Gold Prices

Gold prices rose on 23 December following the downfall on Tuesday. Accordingly, December gold futures increased by 0.17% or 83 Rupees to Rs. 50,164 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Similarly, Silver futures fell by 752.00 Rupees or 1.12% to settle at Rs. 67,623.00 per kg. Amid the hopeful COVID-19 vaccine and easing of demand, the precious metals brace for the fall. In the international market, Gold was trading at USD 1892.30 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 24.50 per ounce.

USD/ INR- Sensex Today

The stock markets rose on 23 December. Accordingly, Sensex ended in the green as it increased by 2.3%. Thereby ending the session at 46,444.18 at 4:10 PM IST on Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 0.53% and ended up at 13,601.10.
