USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.52 at 10:25 PM INR on 15 March. The Indian rupee traded between 72.381 and 72.786 today. On the other hand, the dollar index started this week on a high. According;y, it’s value increased and settled at 91.81 as of 12:46 PM EDT Monday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell again on Monday after falling last week. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is highly uncertain. Accordingly, crude oil decreased by 0.50% at 10:28 PM on 15 March to trade at USD 65.28 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude was set at USD 68.82 per barrel traded 0.58% lower on Monday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices started this week on a high. Accordingly, gold futures increased by 0.31% or 138.00 Rupees to settle at 44888.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Similarly, Silver futures rose by 748.00 Rupees or 1.12% to settle at Rs. 67592.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1727.90 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 26.02 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex fell on 15 March and began this week in the red. Accordingly, Sensex decreased by 0.78% or 397.00 points. Thereby ending the session at 50,395.08 at 4:10 PM IST Monday. Similarly, the NIFTY decreased by 0.67% or 101.45 points and ended up at 14,929.50.
