USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.69 at 7:45 PM INR on 12 March. The Indian rupee traded between 72.625 and 72.871 today. On the other hand, the dollar index started this week on a high. According;y, it’s value increased and settled at 91.66 as of 8:5:00 PM EST Friday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell again on Friday after the fall at the beginning of the week. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is highly uncertain. Accordingly, crude oil decreased by 0.62% at 8:10 PM on 12 March to trade at USD 65.61 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude was set at USD 69.22 per barrel traded 0.59% lower on Friday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices fell again today. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.27% or 119.00 Rupees to settle at 44760.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Similarly, Silver futures fell by 705.00 Rupees or 1.04% to settle at Rs. 66840.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1707.00 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 25.77 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex fell on 10 March ended the week in the red. Accordingly, Sensex decreased by 0.95% or 487.43 points. Thereby ending the session at 50,792.08 at 4:10 PM IST Friday. Similarly, the NIFTY decreased by 0.95% or 143.85 points and ended up at 15,030.95.
