USD/INR- The Indian currency settled at 72.72 at 7:56 PM INR on 11 February. The Indian rupee traded between 72.665 and 72.895 today. Subsequently, the rupee is rising marginally for a week. On the other hand, the dollar index fell today after seeing a marginal gain yesterday. Accordingly, it fell by 0.05% and settled at 90.32 as of 10:27 AM EST on Thursday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell for the third time in the week. The oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic fear kept the investors on edge. Accordingly, crude oil fell by 0.22% at 8:50 PM on 11 February to trade at USD 58.55 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 61.40 per barrel as it was traded 0.11% lower on Thursday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices fell again after seeing a rise this week. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.31% or 148.00 Rupees to settle at 47865.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. On the contrary, Silver futures increased by 92.00 Rupees or 0.13% to settle at Rs. 69018.00 per kg. The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1844.00 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 27.18 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex ended in the green on 11 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 0.43% or 222.13 points. Thereby ending the session at 51,531.52 at 4:10 PM IST on Thursday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 0.44% or 66.80 points and ended up at 15,173.30.
