USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.76 at 8:55 PM INR on 10 March. The Indian rupee traded between 72.709 and 72.768 today. On the other hand, the dollar index started this week on a high. Accordingly, it’s value increased by 0.03% and settled at 91.85 as of 8:15 PM EST Wednesday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices rose on Wednesday after the fall at the beginning of the week. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is highly uncertain. Accordingly, crude oil increased by 0.81% at 8:10 PM on 10 March to trade at USD 64.96 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude was set at USD 68.42 per barrel traded 0.77% lower on Wednesday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices continue this week on a low. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.22% or 97.00 Rupees to settle at 44760.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. On the contrary, Silver futures rose by 126.00 Rupees or 0.19% to settle at Rs. 66236.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1711.00 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 25.78 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex rose on 10 March following the last week’s crash. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 0.50% or 254.03 points. Thereby ending the session at 51,279.51 at 4:10 PM IST Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 0.51% or 76.40 points and ended up at 15174.80.
