USD/INR- The Indian currency settled at 72.83 at 7:44 PM INR on 10 February. The Indian rupee traded between 72.795 and 72.840 today. Subsequently, the rupee is holding well at 73 since September. On the other hand, the dollar index rose today after falling for the entire week. Accordingly, it rose by 0.07% and settled at 90.43 as of 9:52 PM EST on Wednesday.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude oil prices fell for the second time in the week. The oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic fear kept the investors on edge. Accordingly, crude oil fell by 0.61% at 9:50 PM on 10 February to trade at USD 58.32 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 61.10 per barrel as it was traded 0.60% lower on Wednesday.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Precious metal prices continue to rise after falling the previous week. Accordingly, gold futures increased by 0.13% or 60.00 Rupees to settle at 48008.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. On the contrary, Silver futures decreased by 821.00 Rupees or 1.18% to settle at Rs. 68875.00 per kg. The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1843.00 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 27.31 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
The BSE Sensex ended in the red on 10 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 0.04% or 19.69 points. Thereby ending the session at 51,309.39 at 4:10 PM IST on Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY decreased by 0.02% or 2.80 points and ended up at 15,106.50.
