Price of Basmati Rice and Non-basmati rice remain stable. Gobindo Bhog White rice new crop is selling at Rs 6100 per quintal. Reports furnished of a rice miller in Kaithal, Haryana who got duped by fraudulent buyers who purchased rice worth 51,05,000. The rice miller sold rice to a company called Agarwal Agro Exports based in Pitampura, Delhi and after purchasing rice from the miller they vanished. Police registered a complaint against the accused Prince Agarwal and Rahul Agarwal. It’s time for rice millers to be very careful while selling rice and especially to unknown companies. Anyways the margins in rice milling are so minimal that the payment terms should be set against loading or advance without any credit.
