Price of Basmati Rice increased today after a positive press conference by President Trump for peace with Iran. War escalations had suddenly affected the rice market in a very negative way and prices had fallen by 200 rupees a quintal. Prices today increased by 100 rupees per quintal for all basmati rice variants. Paddy prices of 1121 basmati and 1509 basmati too increased today by 50 rupees to 75 rupees per quintal. Non-basmati prices remain stable.
