India’s GDP will reach new heights in a few years, said a Niti Aayog senior official. India’s workforce is contributing heavily to the name and fame of the country.
Rise in GDP
Ramanan Ramanathan, mission director Atal Innovation Mission and Additional Secretary NITI Aayog addressed the Graduation Day of Sri Krishna College of Technology. He stated that India’s GDP is on a rise and will take a commendable place in the next few years. Also, he said that the country’s youth will take the country’s growth to the next level. Further, he mentioned India’s great growth in several aspects and encouraged teachers to drive the youth’s energy to a useful purpose.
Youth’s Role in Development
Mr Ramanan Ramanathan stated that there are continuous technological and societal changes taking place which would play an innovative role in increasing India’s GDP. Also, he stated that youth should have strong beliefs and extraordinary commitments. Further, he motivated teachers and highlighted their role in bringing out the energy of youth required for making India’s destiny.
Modi government has made efforts by launching several youth-related schemes in its tenure. From the Skill India mission to Start-up India, the government has focused on promoting the welfare of the country
Job Creators, not Job Seekers
Citing the employment crunch, he stated that youth should focus on becoming a job creator rather than being a job seeker. Besides, he highlighted the importance of facing challenges in both life and workplace by the young generation.
