India News: India Recorded Over 1.68 Lakh COVID-19 Cases on Sunday

In the last 24 hours, India recorded 1,68,912 fresh cases, the highest single day. The total case tally stands at 1,35,25,389, and the total recoveries are at 1,21,53,715. At the same time, the death toll stood at 1,70,210.

The single-day spike overtook Brazil and made India the second most affected country in the World.

Indore Received Remdesivir Injections Today

Over 20,000 Remdesivir injections arrived in Madhya Pradesh today. Of which, 85% will be for the medicals college while the rest 15% will be sent to the district hospitals.

A recent notification from DGFT states that the export of injection Remdesivir and Remdesivir API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) is prohibited from 11 April 2021. The decision will be in place until the COVID-19 situation in the nation improves.
