Haryana noted 370 new Coronavirus cases today. Total Coronavirus cases tally in Haryana now stands at 5579. Active cases as on date stand at 3339. Total of 381 COVID-19 patients cured today. Sadly, seven patients died in Haryana today.
COVID-19 Doubling Rate in Haryana is 7 days
Haryana witnessed a massive surge in the coronavirus cases in the past two weeks. Especially Gurugram district that accounts for almost half of the COVID-19 cases in Haryana.
Haryana COVID-19 District Wise Report
Gurugram District remains the worst affected with over 2546 confirmed cases. Of the total positive cases, 217 were recorded today. Following that, Faridabad and Sonipat Districts report a total of 855 and 502 Coronavirus cases respectively. 41 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Faridabad while Sonipat District reported 28 fresh cases.
COVID-19 Testing
So far, Haryana has conducted 158470 COVID-19 tests. Currently, it is conducting up to 5527 tests per million population. Average daily tests stand around 4000 approximately taking last seven days cumulative. Out of total samples sent 147453 were negative while the report for 5438 samples is awaited.
Death Rate and Cured Cases in Haryana
The fatality rate in the state increased to 0.93% from 0.86% averaged yesterday. Haryana has one of the lowest mortality rate in India. Sadly, 7 patients passed away today. Total recovered cases hiked to 2188 while the death toll is now at 52.
Haryana to Reopen Schools Post August 15
As of now, MHRD Minister Ramesh disclosed that the schools for classes 9 to 12 will begin after August 15. Meanwhile, the lower grades will resume schooling after August 30. However, the final year college students must appear for their July exams. Also, Ramesh added that the final statement is due until evaluating the conditions during the reopening period.
Haryana Reviewing the Arrangements
The government has employed officials to inspect the current COVID-19 conditions and arrangements. Subsequently, the officers will evaluate the implementation of COVID-19 guidelines in Health institutions. Also, the ventilator stock, ICUs, beds of all the hospitals will be inspected. This is is view to formulate a plan to handle the deadly virus in the coming weeks.
