Haryana recorded 407 new Coronavirus cases today. Total Coronavirus cases in Haryana now stand at 4855. Active cases as on date stand at 3116 as 226 COVID-19 patients recovered in the state.
In the last one week COVID-19 Growth Rate in Haryana Increased to 15%
As depicted in the graph above, the COVID-19 infections in Haryana continue to rise sharply. Experts have concluded 160 out of every million people test positive for the contagious virus.
Haryana COVID-19 District Wise Report
Gurugram District remains the worst affected with over 2165 confirmed cases. Following that, Faridabad and Sonipat Districts reported a total of 714 and 436 positive cases respectively. All districts in Haryana have reported over 20 or more COVID-19 cases.
COVID-19 Testing
So far, Haryana has conducted 150220 COVID-19 tests. It is conducting 5239 tests per million population. Also, Health Minister Anil Vij conveys that the state is striving to ramp up the tests from the current rate to 10,000 per million in the coming days.
Death Rate and Cured Cases in Haryana
The mortality rate in Haryana rose by 0.20%, currently standing at 0.80%. Sadly, 11 patients passed away today. This is the highest single-day deaths recorded in Haryana. Total recovered cases hiked to 1700 while the death toll is now at 39.
Haryana Reports Highest Single day Spike on Sunday
The state recorded nearly 500 cases on 7th June. Approximately, it noted one confirmed case every 3 minutes on Sunday. Yesterday, the state’s COVID-19 count surged to 4448, breaching the 4000 mark. Today, the tally stands at 4590, close to 5000.
Haryana People Gain Freepass to Delhi under Unlock 1
Several commuters enter Delhi through the Gurugram border. Owing to the Unlock 1 relaxations, people easily invade into the national borders. The border curbs were induced as the commuters transfusion resulted in the growth of infections.
