Haryana noted 355 fresh Coronavirus cases today. Total Coronavirus tally in Haryana now stand at 5209. Active cases as on date stand at 3357 as 107 COVID-19 patients recovered in the state. Sadly, 6 patients died in Haryana today.
COVID-19 Doubling Rate in Haryana is 7 days
As depicted in the graph above, Haryana has witnessed a massive surge in the coronavirus cases in the past few days.
Haryana COVID-19 District Wise Report
Gurugram District remains the worst affected with over 2329 confirmed cases. Of the total positive cases, 164 were recorded today. Following that, Faridabad and Sonipat Districts reported a total of 814 and 474 positive cases respectively.
COVID-19 Testing
So far, Haryana has conducted 153692 COVID-19 tests. Currently, it is conducting up to 5360 tests per million population. Also, State bulletin notifies that as on till 9th June 153692 total samples sent for COVID-19 testing. Out of which 143513 were negative while the report for 4970 samples is awaited.
Death Rate and Cured Cases in Haryana
The fatality rate in the state increases to 0.86%, currently lower than the national average 2.7%. Sadly, 6 patients passed away today. Total recovered cases hiked to 1807 while the death toll is now at 45.
Haryana Reevaluating the Opening of State Borders
Following the spike in cases, Home Minister Vij considers sealing of state border with Delhi. Also, earlier he commented that he clearly opposed the idea of freeing border commute. Acknowledging that, over 70% of the cases are linked to NCR and Delhi, Anil Vij is flaying the disappointment.
As of now, the state authorities are monitoring the situation. Also, the authorities promise that the borders will be sealed or restrictions will be placed if and when required.
Haryana Treating COVID-19 Patients
The state is offering COVID-19 treatment without biasing over regionalism. Anil Vij issued the statement opposing the orders released from Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi Government. Earlier, the Delhi government had issued a statement conveying that COVID-19 patients only from Delhi will be treated there.
