USD/INR- Indian rupee value settled at 73.88 on 26 November against the US Dollar. The rupee opened at 74.36 on Thursday. On yesterday, the rupee reached the highest of 73.77 and the lowest at 74.012. At the same time, the dollar index increased by 0.01% to settle at 92.01.
USD/ INR: Oil Prices
The US WTI crude traded 1.40 low at 11:45 PM GMT on 26 November. Accordingly, Crude oil traded at USD 45.06 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude was trading at USD 47.88 per barrel as it traded 0.13% higher on Thursday. The hopeful wait for the success of COVID-19 vaccine had an effect on the investor yesterday. However, the uncertinity over the vaccine avalability along with the excess supply resulted in mixed outcome.
USD/ INR- Gold Prices
Gold prices rise marginally for the first time in the week. Accordingly, December gold futures increased by 0.01% or 47 Rupees to Rs. 48,257 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Likewise, Silver futures rose by 28 Rupees or 0.01% to settle at Rs. 59,485 per kg. With the 90% efficacy news on COVID-19 vaccine, the investors are hopefully awaiting a faster economic rebound. In the international market, Gold was trading at USD 1815 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 23.42 per ounce.
USD/ INR- Sensex Today
Sensex ended the day in the green on 26 November. Accordingly, it increased by 0.98% and saw a 431.64 point rise. Thereby ending the session at 44,259.74 at 4:10 PM IST on Thursday. Similarly, the NIFTY rose by 0.10% and ended up at 12,987.00.
